There are very few absolute certainties in life.
Some are simply matters of happenstance – for
example, when anyone sees a newborn baby
they will state “How cute!” – but there are
precious few things in life that you can
absolutely put all of your trust in. As a matter
of fact, there really is only one that you can put
every last percentage point of trust in. That is,
of course, God Almighty. Today we are going to
look at two lessons centered around our
incredible, wonderful, reliable, trustworthy,
faithful God and I hope that you will leave our
studies with a deeper appreciation and love for
the God who never fails.
“His divine power has granted to us all
things that pertain to life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him who
called us to his own glory and
excellence, by which he has granted to
us his precious and very great
promises, so that through them you
may become partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped from the
corruption that is in the world because
of sinful desire.” – 2 Peter 1:3-4
Thank God for His precious and very great
promises.
